As for Corey, it seems he is still in the game since he didn’t receive anything following his job interview at the end of January. Yet, he still has to be invited to take the oral interaction test!… It may take a while because it is now the end of fiscal in the PSC and, in April, it’s always very quiet… they’re waiting for the 2011 budget… Anyways, he isn’t banking on this position (never was actually!) and he started applying for other positions in other Departments. All he wants is to be invited for the oral interaction test so that he will have his language profile (which will be good for the next 5 years) and the SLE testing will be out of the way if ever he’s short listed for other positions within the PSC! …

I contacted the HR to see if they can give me feedback on my interview so I can be prepared should there be a next time. I was referred to some member of the selection board but I have not heard from this individual.

My on-line status remains the same (my file has been transfered to the HR for review). I am not surprised! It will take a couple of months for them to update my file and status (refusal )

No, as far as I know, Corey didn’t hear anything from them yet… I do understand what you mean by “silly” interview… Corey told me it was actually a “test” and not an “interview”… I do think he’s right regarding this subtle difference… actually, how can one mark an interview?
