Thank God it is Friday!… Once again, I had a very busy week… four new students and three others who will take either their oral interaction test or both their written expression and reading comprehension tests next week. Of course everybody is kind of emotional these days… you have no idea how stressful those exams are, unless you went through that process yourselves!… Once again I will work this weekend but, honestly, I do not mind at all! This is part of what I do and I would not do anything else… Knowing that I am helping so many people to meet the language requirements of their job positions is somewhat rewarding… yet I admit it is not always easy!… Fortunately I love challenges and they are certainly not missing in my professional life!…
I thought of giving you a quizz on proverbs in French… Francophones should find them easily because they are quite popular and Anglophones will learn a bit more about French culture!… And when you will check your results, you will be given the definition of each proverb, which I think is very neat… although I got them all, I have to say that there were a couple I was not quite sure of the context they should be used in… therefore I learned something today!… Hopefully you will enjoy taking this test!
Summer in September ended abruptly this week… One day, central A/C was blasting and the very next one, I had to switch to heat… C’est le Canada!
Now it is the perfect season for taking walks and enjoying the slow change of colours!

But, before you do so, click here to play!
Enjoy both the test and the great outdoors!

Bonjour Lyne,
