It is now officially winter here!… No more denial! There is enough white stuff on the ground to remind me that I cannot pretend otherwise any longer… no more wishful thinking!
I do not know about you, but personally I try and spend as much time as possible inside during winter months… I love cocooning sitting in front of a cracking fire and sipping on a hot chocolate (topped with whipped cream of course!)… reading, watching movies and playing games!
Today I chose a quiz about no specific rules… all you will have to do is to pick the right word : correct spelling or correct agreement. I think you will not have too much trouble and be able to make your choice easily… although I guess there are a couple of traps, as usual… I took it myself and got a perfect score... Let me know how you did!
I guess it is time for you to feel the Holiday spirit… alors, pour vous mettre dans l’ambiance, here is a neat ornament…
Now! Are you ready to play?… Click here then… Since there is no more direct link to that quiz, once you will be on the page, under Textes à trous, click on the link 19 décembre 2002 – À vos marques and it will take you to the test!
Amusez-vous bien!

My first 50/50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like celebrating! I think it’s because I enjoyed the reading so much. The “business-y” topics don’t interest me too much, but this one was just beautiful.
Just a question on the reading . . . were they using the word “present” (forgive my lack of accents while typing) in the sense of “cadeau”? I’ve never seen that before. Or do they mean the present moment?
#42 and #43
On Meredith’s behalf who took the test and wrote in an email:
I took the test and I got 40/50… not bad at all!
I picked out a print and it wasn’t easy to narrow it down. One of my favorites is “The Day it Rained”.
Thanks for the opportunity to win a print.
Good luck Meredith!
Congratulations Diane!
A perfect score! Yoo Hoo!!!
And indeed it’s a beautiful poetic story… for those who are still kids in their hearts!
En effet, le mot «présent» en français est synonyme du mot «cadeau»…and in the story you read, it’s really what it means! We use it quite often, especially when we’re referring to Christmas gifts… See, you learned a new word tonight!
À bientôt j’espère!
Bonjour Lyne, j’ai eu 50/50 (ouf! j’ai eu chaud !!!).
