Finally the weekend is here… no more driving for a couple of days. Actually I consider myself lucky since I can avoid being in traffic at peak hours… Last week I decided that I would not make any appointments early mornings and late afternoons. Consequently my days start around 1:00 pm and end at 9:00 pm. Of course I would prefer enjoying my evenings at home yet I thought it would be better to avoid situations infuriating me! I admit I have short fuses when I sit for too long on a highway… Therefore, for the time the public transit strike will prevail, this new schedule suits me…
Saturday is the perfect day for playing games or taking tests although I know no one is into something too difficult. This is why today I chose a quiz you should find rather easy… I did it myself in no time and I got 45/45 with no problems at all! Since lately many of you thought they had not done very well on my last tests, this one should revigorate your spirits!
Therefore relax… enjoy this day off and forget about traffic!
Monday will come soon enough…

Grab something to eat and click here to play!
Amusez-vous bien!
Earlier this week, I updated my Correct your mistakes! page. I am proposing more accurate expressions to replace the ones misusing the verb FAIRE… If you have a minute or two, you should have a look at it!

Just missed the Achilles heel. That’s not even one that I agonized over . . . should have known better!
Bonsoir Diane,
Great, only one mistake! And I do believe you when you say it isn’t the one you agonized over.
Actually «tendon d’Achille» refers to the muscle behind the ankle… and it’s a common mistake among Francophones, they use «tendon» when they mean «talon» (vulnerable spot)… go figure why!
BTW, I’m now all set to start giving virtual French courses… I think it’s going to be very interesting: I love new challenging tricks!!! Et je crois que, désormais, ce sera la voie de l’avenir… so better getting used to it sooner than later. I’ll keep you posted!
Bonne fin de semaine!
Bonjour Lyne !
Bon lundi!!!
