Expressions and Birds…

Today Marina went for her oral interaction test in English… her appointment was at 2:30 pm, therefore I will have to wait until tomorrow before I hear from her… hopefully everything went well!… Then, once again, it will be the painful waiting… speaking of waiting, Alicia never got back to me with her reading comprehension and written expression tests results. I guess I will have to drop  her a line soon!

I am not sure why, but tonight I was not inspired at all by the quizzes I have been browsing… finally, I chose one with popular expressions…  you will be thrilled to know that I made one mistake! I got 45/50… I do know for a fact that the bird I picked is used in an expression actually meaning the same thing… It will be quite interesting to see what you will come up for this one! Of course I will not tell you which one!… well… later, not now!

Today was a magnificent day… temperatures were in the low 30s, the sky was blue and the sun was shining… and no humidity at all! Hot days in April and May are great because there is no humidex index… unfortunately, in the summer when it is hot here, it is less bearable… This is why I try and enjoy days like today as much as I can in the spring.

In a couple of months, the sky will be hazy because of the smog and it will look like this…

    Bonjour Lyne,

J’ai eu 50/50… Je suis très contente, pas de pièges cette fois pour les personnes qui répondent trop vite comme moi !!

    A bientôt,
    Isabelle

      Bonjour Isabelle,

Apparemment on me bat à mon petit jeu cette fois-ci! ;-)

      Lyne
