Today is Canada Day… a statutory holiday… But!.. For me, it is a regular working day: people who will be tested soon on their competencies in French need my help… and today is not different from any other day of the year!
Since I do not have much time left before my next online training session starts, I will give you updates later this week.
Once again, I thought you would like to test whether you are influenced by English or not… I found an interesting text in which you will have to decide what words to use. Working on avoiding anglicism being part of my daily life, I got a perfect score on this one! Is it difficult? I could not really tell… there might be a couple of traps yet I am not sure, you will be the judge!
What I love most about my country is that we are a multicultural society… and today’s celebrations make sure to aknowledge and reflect this reality…

J’ai eu 40/50. J’ai fait 2 fautes bêtes (genre et assume), mais dans l’ensemble, je pense que le test n’était pas très difficile. Les anglicismes étaient très évidents quand même (enfin, pour moi qui suis française…).

Je ne pense pas que ce test soit très difficile (du moins pas pour les Francophones… quoiqu’ici les anglicismes pullulent!). Ici aussi il fait chaud, mais la canicule est passée (cependant c’est encore très humide, alors nous avons l’impression que les températures sont plus élevées qu’elles ne le sont en réalité). En effet, j’ai entendu dire qu’il faisait très chaud en Europe! Heureusement, je peux rester à l’intérieur puisque j’ai la climatisation centrale… donc je n’ai pas vraiment de raison valable de me plaindre de la chaleur!!!
